During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while residents in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and faced disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, based on information from local officials.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the Group of Seven - in supplying protection systems and applying restrictions," was stated in a online statement.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 missiles struck the country's power systems, describing such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles struck electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, according to city authorities.

Area administrators said the urban area came under intense attacks during nighttime hours. A young boy died and several individuals were hurt.

The strikes follow nights of aerial attacks in the area, sections of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to identify.

Authorities told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to destroy the national power system, with attacks already impacting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and officials were bracing for more assaults.
